This semester introduces the student to carpentry-specific topics. These include:

  • Introduction to Construction Drawings, Specifications, and Layout
  • Introduction to Construction Equipment
  • Concrete Safety
  • Building Materials, Fasteners, and Adhesives
  • Site Layout - Differential Leveling

This semester introduces the student to carpentry-specific topics. These include:

This semester covers the rest of the NCCER Level 3 Trainee Guide, including Vertical and Horizontal Formwork and Tilt-Up Panels. Participants will have a welding lab and continue building their skills on reading prints.



This semester covers skills that carpenters will be able to use to be well-rounded carpenters. This includes:

  • Cold-Formed Steel Framing
  • Thermal and Moisture Protection
  • Drywall Installation and Finishing
  • Exterior Finishing
  • Roofing Applications and Roofing Systems
